SOPHIA NDLOVU
Since she was a little girl, Sophia has dreamed of living in Africa. She grew up in Germany and moved to
Australia when she was six years old. She speaks German fluently. Arriving in Africa for the
first time in 1997, she worked for an orphanage in Harare, Zimbabwe. The following year she worked
for a clinic in Victoria Falls on a voluntary project. After completing her studies as a nurse,
she continued to study for her Master's Degree specialising in public health. She combined her
studies with working in safari camps, assisting with the management of three safari operations.
Sophia has travelled extensively throughout Southern Africa and her international background
allows her to share and communicate her love for the continent to visitors from all walks of life.

PAUL SMITH
Paul has been an "African Regular", staying in Safari Camps throughout Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa.
His infectious passion for the Bush has persuaded many family members, friends and Business colleagues to share
the experience! His son is now a Bush Pilot in Botswana. Paul has more than 35 years of Banking and Finance
experience with major International Banks. His experience in the business world is brought to Beks
Safaris—aiding in its success and financial integrity. His financial prowess ensures that all visitors
payments are taken care of accordingly so that our reputation with our guests, partners and suppliers remains
second to none.
