The camp is situated 20 kilometres away from the start of the famous sand dunes, on
a private game reserve within the Namib-Naukluft Park and the Namib Desert. The
camp has a sight of picturesque, red sand dunes in the distance, as high as up to 1000 feet
from the open plains. These sand dunes are amongst some of the most dramatic and
breathtaking as well as the most photographed dunes in the world. The famous DEAD VLEI surrounded
by commonly hiked sand dunes is one of the highlights of the visit into the
Park. The combination of the beautiful landscape with desert wild life such as
Springbuck and Oryx dotted amongst the few acacias below the dunes is the ideal
artist's picture of a desert. The private game reserve, on which the luxurious
accommodation is situated, has rugged mountains and open plains ideal for the
perfect afternoon excursions.

The game reserve is not a wild life rich area, but
offers you the best desert experience and education. The lodge has nine
twin-bedded, luxurious units built on a small rocky hill, over-looking an open
plains with the Sand dunes in sight behind the rugged terrain.
Activities would be half day trips in the mornings into the SOSSUSVLEI
SAND DUNES and afternoon drives in the exclusive private property. Short
nature walks are also an option within the property.

Game reserve which shares a common border to Namibia’s “wildlife gem",
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK. The game reserve affords you the opportunity
of seeing all of the BIG FIVE, which also includes both species
of Rhino. The camp is built at the base of a hill in front a frequented
floodlit waterhole. Having the camp next door the Park, gives you the total ETOSHA
experience, with big herds of animals at the common salt-pans dotted within the
park. Nature walks, Rhino tracking and game drives are the activities offered on
the property. Sharing the camp grounds with Black rhino and plains game is a
common occurance. This is deemed as the Premier exclusive wild life experience of

Little Ongava is situated within the Ongava Game Reserve, a private 30,000 hectare game reserve that is located adjacent to the southern boundary of Etosha National Park. Little Ongava is built along a crest of a hill with wonderful views onto the plains below and is the ideal lodge from which to base your activities when visiting Etosha

Lion, Elephant, Cheetah, Gemsbok, Springbok, and Hartebeest can be seen at many of the water holes in the park. The Ongava Reserve has resident White and Black Rhino, giving guests staying at Little Ongava the opportunity to see both species. Situated in a set aside 660,000 acres of wild and uninhabited land where nobody has been
able to have access to in the past. It is within the SKELETON NATIONAL PARK. Due to
its remoteness, access to this area is strictly by aircraft and the camp has guaranteed set
departure dates, which are Wednesday and Saturdays for a minimum of a four day safari.
The camp is a ten-bedded luxurious camp. There are a number of activities and things to do
that could keep you fascinated for days on end. The activities in this area are played a
little extraordinary as each activity takes up the entire day, departing camp after
breakfast and returning at sunset. Picnic lunches and snacks are enjoyed at convenient
spots. The varying landscape offers everything from open plains, mountains, salt pans,
roaring sand dunes to colonies of Cape Fur Seals and famous ship wrecks. The area has
pockets of wild life situated especially by the salt pans and fresh water springs.
Unique desert plants such as Welwitschiaare are seen here. This is one of the few camps
that offer authentic cultural experiences into the nomadic HIMBA settlements, just outside
the park. Animals seen are Brown Hyena, Cape Fur Seals, rare Desert Elephants, Springbuck
and Oryx.
The varying landscape offers everything from open plains, mountains, salt pans, roaring sand dunes to colonies of Cape Fur Seals and famous ship wrecks.
The thatch dome-shaped structures of Mowani Mountain Camp echo the shape of the rough-textured granite boulders amongst which they are built, creating
the ambience of an African Village, a theme complemented by African wood
carvings and artifacts.
Mowani's main complex consists of a reception area, bar, spacious dining
room and a lounge overlooking a waterhole where elephants and other animals
come to drink. Guests are accommodated in 12 luxury East-African-style
en-suite safari tents built on raised platforms, each with a canvas veranda
and splendid views over the Aba-Huab Valley.
Situated within the Twyfelfontein Conservancy, Mowani Mountain Camp offers a
variety of excursions, ranging from the Twyfelfontein rock engravings, Burnt
Mountain and Organ Pipes to natural drives and guided walks.

Kulala Tented Camp is a 12-bedded camp situated on the 10 000-hectare Wilderness Safaris property near Sossuvlei.
The camp is at the foot of a mountain facing west to watch the sunset. This camp caters for the self-drive market and
has a separate entrance and access road. The camp consists of 6 Meru-style tents with en suite bathrooms with showers;
hot water will be solar heated. The tents are linked to the main dining room, bar, reception area and swimming pool by
stone pathways. The interiors are simple yet stylish and have solar powered 12V lighting. The main dining area, bar and
reception are built from stone with canvas roofing. There is a fully stocked bar, and traditional 3 course meals are
served at dinner. At night, lanterns light the main area, and a full breakfast is served there in the mornings. There
are no activities offered, as accommodation is on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. If you book the whole camp,
activities can be laid on at an additional cost.

Bordering Western Etosha, is situated in the former Damaraland and the gateway to Kaokoland. It is a concession area, privately run for the past eleven years. Hobatere offers a taste of the wilderness, with free roaming animals on an area of 32,000 Hectares, such as Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, Spotted & Brown Hyena, Oryx, Eland, Giraffe, Kudu, Springbok, Hartman's Zebra, Aardvark, Aardwolf, Cape Fox, Bat-eared Fox and many more. The area, where there are free ranging leopards, is also included in the National Carnivore Monitoring Programme run by the Africat Foundation and the Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
The Lodge consists of 12 thatched rooms and bungalows nestled between large Mopane trees. Home cooked buffet meals are served on the veranda within an indigenous garden or at the boma under the stars. Our new Luxury Bush Camp is situated in a wilderness area, 3km from the Main Camp. The Luxury Bush Camp will offer the same high standards as Okonjima Main Camp.
It consists of eight-thatched African-style chalets and a main lapa-style complex housing reception, lounge with fire place, kitchen, dining area and curio shop. The building is shaped rather like a camel-thorn pod, with a campfire area in its curve that overlooks a waterhole, and a swimming pool to one side. Inside the lapa, amongst loosely scattered kelim rugs, are curved leather and kelim-covered sofas and easy chairs and wooden coffeetables with a good selection of books on Namibia and reading matter about Okonjima and the activities of the Africat Foundation.

Palmwag is a luxury, tented mobile camp that can be easily moved if local game movements deem it necessary. A maximum of sixteen guests will have the rare pleasure of exploring this wild and remote area in the company of the dedicated conservationists hosting them.
