The emphasis here is on nature walks on Ndali estate, providing 1000 acres of rolling farmland, forest and wild pasture which abounds in birds, butterflies, exotic plant species and wild herbs, or in the enchanting Kibale forest. The forest is renowned for habituated chimpanzees, 11 species of primates and an amazing variety of birdlife, butterflies, plants and ancient trees that grow over 50 metres tall. Boat rides around the crater lake will also reveal the spectacular tropical birds, for which Uganda is reputed to have the largest variety in Africa (over 990 species recorded).

Day 4
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Queen Elizabeth National Park, game viewing en-route, overnight Gorilla Forest Camp.
Gorilla Forest Camp is a permanent luxury tented camp nestled in the mist-swathed rainforests of a mountainside in the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The exclusive location – the sole property within the park’s boundaries - afford Gorilla Forest Camp the status of being the ideal base for gorilla tracking, primate viewing and birding excursions in the park.
Bwindi is situated on Uganda’s extreme western border, very close to the geographical heart of Africa where the confluence of the Rift Valley and the Great Lakes have created an eco-system that perhaps defines the very essence of the continent. Fittingly, Bwindi is one of the most biologically diverse areas on Earth, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
